Our services
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is where it all started for me. I know firsthand the help and transformation that can be found through individual therapy. Individual sessions at Hawthorne Family Counseling are typically 55 minutes long, and will be centered around supportive, unbiased, compassionate, and confidential care. I am trained in a variety of treatment modalities, and will work with you to discern which approach(es) fit best for your individual needs.
Child and Family Therapy
Hawthorne Family Counseling serves children aged 12 years and up. I deeply value a collaborative approach to working with children and families. In child and family therapy, families learn new relational patterns and skills to work through conflict, problem behavior, emotional dysregulation, and strained relationships. No one matters more to your child than you do. It will always be my aim to equip and empower you to enter into these painful relational patterns with renewed hope, strategies, and support.
Brainspotting Therapy
Discovered and developed by David Grand, PhD, Brainspotting is a neuro-experiential therapy that locates points in the client’s visual field that help to access unprocessed trauma in the subcortical brain. Through the work of Brainspotting, longstanding PTSD responses and troubling symptoms can be reprocessed, leading to deeper healing and improved functioning. It has been my experience that Brainspotting work can be life changing - transforming places of fear, anxiety, and reactivity, into places of peace, confidence, and forward momentum.
